January 2021 Wrap Up

Month in Review

January was actually a fairly good reading month for me. I read 10 books which is fairly good for me but a little bit lower than what I need to be able to reach my goals for the year. I hit some book burnout and had a hard time course correcting. I’m still in the middle of that long course correct but I’m feeling a little bit better. But I never claimed to be perfect and I’m a constant work in progress! 😀

What I Read This Month

I actually don’t have a Bookly image for this month. I began to wonder if Bookly wasn’t causing some issues with my reading because I never felt like I could just pick up and read a book. I always had to make sure I had my phone or tablet near me for tracking. I’m looking at different ways of getting over that obsession with perfect tracking this month.

Stand Out of the Month

One by One by Ruth WareI wasn’t really looking forward to this book club pick. I had read Ware’s The Girl in Cabin 10 and I don’t remember loving it that much. I loved this book. I had a hard time putting it down. It consumed my time. Highly recommend it.
