Stephanie’s October 2019 TBR

Posted October 12th, 2019 by in Reading Goals, TBR Pile, To Be Read (TBR) Pile / 1 comment

This pile is normally a LOT bigger than I would set for one month but it’s October and in the MidWest that means things are slowing down. Don’t get me wrong, October is still a busy month with lots of family birthdays, bonfires, and family get togethers but it just starts to feel a lot slower. We’ve already turned on the furnace for the season. I hate to do it before November 1st but we’ve had some unusually crisp nights and I work from home for the majority of the time so it’s not really an option this year.

Another reason for the abnormally large pile is that on the 26th Dewey’s is happening!! Most of the time I miss out on Dewey’s because it almost always lands on our anniversary weekend in April and as aforementioned October is a lot of family birthdays. This year though, I managed to ensure that I will be free that day. I also think hubby is working that Saturday! *double score* I will be taking a half day on Friday so that I can clean and grocery shop and not feel obligated to do those things on Saturday or Sunday (Dewey’s recovery day!). I’ll be making a separate post for Dewey’s tracking and a very specific TBR for the readathon.

Yes I hate turning on the furnace before November too but its been a chilly October. Girl…I am SO not ready for winter yet. LOL

I am really curious what you think about Annie Raines book….that cover is adorable. I want a cottage home like that one day.
