Wednesday Weekly Wrap Up {2}

The Wednesday Weekly Wrap Up is a way for me to share what’s been happening in my life through the week. It will be mostly book related but may include some stuff going on in my real life. It was inspired by Caffeinated Reviewer’s The Sunday Post.

This week was a GREAT week! I nailed my Blogging Ta Da list for the first week and I really like the progress I’m seeing. This past weekend I was able to go visit my sister and her family with my mom. It was a great time! We took my nephew out and bought him the birthday gifts we hadn’t purchased yet. He was a lot of fun. He turned two last month. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with my sister and her husband and my mother. Last week was a non-travel week for me so I pretty much needed to get out of the house by that point. We also dyed eggs for Easter while we there. It was his first time with that little experiment and it didn’t hold his interest the whole time. And…… nephew knows sight words mostly two and three letter words but with some other words (for example time and like). Just a quick reminder her just turned two last month. My works with him a lot but his level of comprehension is amazing. He can count to twenty and knows his alphabet. He knows each letter not just the song. He even remixed a bit in the car. Needless to say I am a very proud auntie!

At this point of pictures he was pretty over dying eggs and wanted to move on to other fun things!

Previously on Once Upon a Chapter:

Redemption by David Baldacci was a pre-order. I LOVE Amos Decker.
The Cottingly Secret by Hazel Gaynor
Last Girl Lied To by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn

Lauren from Bookmark Lit influenced the purchases of the last two titles listed. One is about fairies based on a true story and the other just had a great sounding synopsis!

I didn’t make it as far as I had hoped in my reading goals this week. So unfortunately they are the exact same goals as last week. I know I’ll make more headway this week. I have one book due for review and I’ll have 4 hours of audiobook time for the other big book. BSC reads take just an hour or two and should be easy to get caught up!

The Summer Retreat by Sheila RobertsBaby-Sitters' Summer Vacation by Ann M. MartinCrooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
Claudia and the Sad Goodbye by Ann M. Martin

How is your week shaping up? What exciting things are you reading?!

    Yeah for family time. I miss my nieces and nephews so much and they grow up a ton between visits. So glad you got to spend time with your family. Also big props to you for meeting your blogging goals I am sadly behind.

      They do grow up so quickly. He’s in that stage where their development is insanely quick. At least when you don’t see them daily.

      Thanks! I’m trying to set some really low blogging goals so I can be motivated to keep going.
