The Sunday Post {The One Where We Sold Our House}

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news: a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. Borrowed from Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Things have been settling down a bit finally. Last Friday we sold our house to my brother. He seems like he is very happy about the situation. I know we are. I won’t go into a lot of detail about it since I did another post about it. Basically we’re on the downhill side which means I’ll be able to blog more and more importantly read more!

Here’s to being back into the lovely hobby and lifestyle of reading!

Book besties are the BEST besties! This whole pile came from Alexa for my birthday!

The 7 and a Half Days of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart TurtonI read a book review or a book blurb or SOMETHING of this book. I couldn’t tell you now where I read it. It sounded great and my library had it on purchase so I went ahead and placed it on hold. I was the first in line! It makes me want to get it read so I can get it returned.

Six of Crows by Leigh BardugoIf I am able to get that book finished up this week I have been nudged in the direction of reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. If you notice in the picture above Lex sent me the second book in the series which I took as a subtle hint to get my booty in gear to read it. Lol

    I read Six of Crows for the first time in August and I loved it! I was afraid it was way too overhyped but it was fun and action packed with lovable characters. I hope you like it, too!

      I’m sure I’m going to love it! I avoid hyped books and then once I finally get around to reading them I realize they’re hyped for a reason. Every. Time. Thanks for giving it another vote of confidence! πŸ™‚

      Thanks! Downsizing was hard for sure and we’re crammed where we are right now but once we purchase our new home (not sure where in town that’ll be yet) we’ll be a lot better off. πŸ™‚ My only words of advice are don’t do it before you have to move! Lol. You’ll want to sit and look through all the treasures you’ve found and there won’t be time.
