Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news: a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. Borrowed from Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

*taps mic* Hello? It’s been so long I may have forgotten how to do this. It seems like life is all about making plans and then seeing how quickly those plans can get tossed out. A little over a month ago my husband accepted a promotion that will move us about two hours from home. We’re very excited about this and we can’t wait to get over there. But that’s a story for another post.

I’ve missed blogging but more importantly I’ve missed the book community. You guys rock! I’ve also seen a few people coming back from long hiatuses due to life also messing with them (both good and bad!). I’m looking at you Jess and April! So good to see you guys blogging again. I’m going to dust off my pens, planners, notebooks, and keyboard and see if I can’t bring Once Upon a Chapter up to scratch. Definitely having to look at the SSL situation and the new European policy thingy that is currently alluding this brain.

Previously on Once Upon a Chapter:

In this too I am a disappointment this week. I do have some great books coming from Amazon this week and I can’t wait to show them to you!

The Uninvited by Heather GrahamI had finished up To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and I was in the mood for a ghost story. The Uninvited by Heather Graham was readily available and I’m so far behind on the Krewe series I figured it was as good as anything else. Turns out it’s about the Revolutionary War so I’m in! Currently just a few chapters in but I’ll definitely have it finished within the week I’m sure.

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny HanThe trailer for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before for Netflix made me want to read the book before I saw the movie. I finished it this past Monday and can’t wait to continue the series. I actually UNpacked these books so I’d have access to them.

If I get those to done this week I’ll be amazed. We’ll be hardcore packing this week so pray for me! LOL!

Yay for Heather Graham. I used to read her all the time, but haven’t read her contemporary or suspense books yet. Only her historical’s–which are fantastic.

It was a really good read. I love the Krewe of Hunter series! It’s my go to when I want a good ghost story. I own her historicals but need to read them still. 🙂 Story of my life!
