Review: The Unholy by Heather Graham *Stephanie’s Review*

[book-info]

I’m really sad that I didn’t enjoy The Unholy by Heather Graham as much as I did the others in this series. I wonder if some of that has to do with the audio narration.

If I’m being honest I didn’t get too much into the story. 1940s Hollywood just isn’t something I’m overly interested in. I really did enjoy Humphrey Bogart’s character in the story. I’ve never seen one of his movies but his character was probably my favorite.

One of the problems with the Krewe of Hunter books that I struggle with is the romance part. The great thing is that the books are fast paced and a lot of stuff happens in a short amount of time but that also includes the romance development.

This wasn’t the best in the series but it was still an enjoyable read. I hope to see more of Sean and Madison’s relationship in future books!

Note on nararration: For the mot part I enjoyed the narrator but a high pitched deep male voice will never sound like a woman’s.

  1. I’m not much for 1940s hollywood either. I prefer my historical fiction to be further back in…well, history lol. Sorry to hear this one wasn’t s enjoyable as the others. 😦

    1. I like recent history novels but this one just didn’t do it for me. I’m hoping the next one will bring it back for me. 🙂
