I LOVE to cook! I also love to eat. Recently I joined Weight Watchers and found that food could still be delicious even if it was on a *:shudders:* diet. I decided that I wanted to share some of the awesome recipes that I have found and tried with you. Books and food often go hand in hand (but NEVER in the same hand!) Each week I will share the recipe and my own pictures so you can see what it looks like when an average joe makes it. 😉
This week I present:
I found the recipe for the Reuben Wonton Cups over at Emily Bites. I use her blog for inspiration all the time! She is a great asset to the Weight Watcher community. With my ingredients the cups came out to 4 SP each and they were AMAZING! I seriously love these little wonton cups.
For the sweet potato fries I just took a sweet potato and cut it down to wedges. Tossed them in enough olive oil to coat then put them on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil (makes clean up SO much easier!) then tossed two cloves of garlic (smashed) onto the cookie sheet with the potatoes. Sprinkled with salt and pepper and roasted in the oven for about 20 minutes at 450. Your SP will vary based on the amount of sweet potato and olive oil used. This “recipe” is more of an idea than something I can give a solid number for.
