There's no place like Haven Point for the holidays, where the snow conspires to bring two wary hearts together for a Christmas to remember.

It's been two rough years since Andrea Montgomery lost her husband, and all she wants is for her children to enjoy their first Christmas in Haven Point. But then Andie's friend asks a favor—to keep an eye on her brother, Sheriff Marshall Bailey, who's recovering from a hit and run. Andie will do anything for Wyn, even park her own misgivings to check on her grouchy, wounded bear of a brother.

Marshall hates feeling defenseless and resents the protective impulses that Andie brings out in him. But when a blizzard forces them together for the holidays, something in Marshall begins to thaw. Andie's gentle nature is a salve, and her kids' excitement for the holidays makes him forget why he never wanted a family. If only he and Andie can admit what they really want—each other—their Christmas wishes might come true after all. - via GoodReads

5 Stars

I picked up Snowfall on Haven Point by RaeAnne Thayne because I was asked to be on a blog tour for it. I was concerned that I would have a disconnect because it was the fifth and final book in the Haven Point series. But I was reassured that it would be fine. And it was. I adored this book! It was a great read for October. I needed a romance when I picked up Snowfall on Haven Point and it was Christmas themed but it wasn’t shoved down my throat.

Andrea Montgomery has survived some crap in her life but she’s moved to Haven Point to help her and her two children move past the horror’s of the past year. I loved Andrea. She’d been hurt but she was doing a great job of carrying on for the sake of herself and her children. She was starting to get her life together and she was doing really well. Chloe and Will made a great addition to this story.

Marshall Bailey is the prime example of the stubborn male who is just fine on his own thank you very much. He has no interest whatsoever in a family life. Marsh is the sheriff and he has a county to run. And he’s got to figure out who ran him down on a cold and snowy night. His meddling sister has insured that he’ll be taken care of while he’s off his feet.

For me there is nothing more heart-warming than a holiday romance with two people who aren’t interested in falling in love and just that happens. Haven Point is a small town romance that will sweep you up and leave you with a smile on your face. I loved reading this so much that I’m going back to read the rest of the series!
