I picked up Snowfall on Haven Point by RaeAnne Thayne because I was asked to be on a blog tour for it. I was concerned that I would have a disconnect because it was the fifth and final book in the Haven Point series. But I was reassured that it would be fine. And it was. I adored this book! It was a great read for October. I needed a romance when I picked up Snowfall on Haven Point and it was Christmas themed but it wasn’t shoved down my throat.
Andrea Montgomery has survived some crap in her life but she’s moved to Haven Point to help her and her two children move past the horror’s of the past year. I loved Andrea. She’d been hurt but she was doing a great job of carrying on for the sake of herself and her children. She was starting to get her life together and she was doing really well. Chloe and Will made a great addition to this story.
Marshall Bailey is the prime example of the stubborn male who is just fine on his own thank you very much. He has no interest whatsoever in a family life. Marsh is the sheriff and he has a county to run. And he’s got to figure out who ran him down on a cold and snowy night. His meddling sister has insured that he’ll be taken care of while he’s off his feet.
For me there is nothing more heart-warming than a holiday romance with two people who aren’t interested in falling in love and just that happens. Haven Point is a small town romance that will sweep you up and leave you with a smile on your face. I loved reading this so much that I’m going back to read the rest of the series!
