After Miss Mayhem I didn’t know if I wanted to continue the Rebel Belle series but Lady Renegades by Rachel Hawkins wrapped up a series for me so I decided to push through. I’m so glad I did!

Spoilers AHOY matey! Both for the series AND LADY RENEGADES!! I can’t give you my feelings on this book without talking about some of the more major things that happened. One of the happier things about this book is the lack of the word “boyfie”. Aunt Jewel is my favorite secondary character in the series and we get to see her a few times.

Harper seems to return to the Harper I loved in Rebel Belle. She’s organized and smart. She doesn’t take shit from anyone and she does it with charm and a smile. Blythe makes a great re-entrance to the series and Hawkins masterfully made me like her. Bee had more page time in this one and I liked her more than I had anticipated. Ryan and David received very little page time and I missed them for sure.

I had no idea where Hawkins was going to take this and I wasn’t disappointed! I wasn’t sure that Harper would be able to follow through with what needed to be done. I am a sucker for a good ending. Sure there are questions on how it would all work but I loved it! Redemption, an exciting beginning, and a wonderful wrap up to the series; what more could make me happy?

I really enjoyed Rebel Belle and Lady Renegades. I think Miss Mayhem suffered from second book syndrome. I’m really glad I saw the series through.
