15th Affair by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro *Stephanie’s Review*

I picked up 15th Affair by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro because I’ve already read x amount of book in the series and I’m not giving up now damn it! Plus they’re quick reads.

Really this series has become a bit of a soap opera. It’s a very entertaining soap opera but a soap opera nevertheless. Here’s what typically happens: lots of secrets between everyone, lots of deaths, and Lindsay Boxer will probably be shot at. 15th Affair included the government and the Chinese mob. I didn’t know what was happening or how it would end but not in a good way. I was confused but in a distracted way. I prefer more of a WTF is going on confusion.

I’m discovering that Lindsay is getting on my nerves more and more with each new book. I’m not really sure why. It just seems to be happening. It also seems like the rest of the group is getting less and less page time.

I really probably should give the series up. Will I read the next one? I’ll get it from the library. Am I hanging on the edge of my seat in anticipation? No.
