2016 Book Budget

Beginning Balance May 2016: $0.00 spent

What I Hope to Accomplish

  • Pretty simple: keep it as close to $0.00 as possible. Ideally this number will remain the same.
  • Use the library more. I’d love to see a number where I save more than I spend.

Books Purchased:

  • None!!! I have gone a whole month without spending anything on books. It feels pretty great. Normally I last a few weeks and break. Not this time!
Total Purchased: $0

Free eBooks:

  • Operation Werewolf by Kelly Apple

Gifts from my #OTSPSecretSister

  • Life Below Stairs: True Lives of Edwardian Servants by Alison Maloney
  • Lacybourne Manor by Kristen Ashley

Free Audible Credit (2/3 Used):

  • The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye

Reading Progress

Book Read This Month (TBR Goals: Read 3 each month 3/3 TBR = Before 1/1/16)

  • Da Vinci’s Tiger by L.M. Elliot

  • Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton (TBR
  • First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones (TBR)

Borrowed from Library:

I use the current price on Amazon for the Kindle format of that book to calculate my library savings. I’m a major Kindle user and that would have been my choice of format so that’s the price I’ll use to calculate my savings.

  • Poisonous by Allison Brennan – $12.99
  • Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol 12 by Naoko Takeuchi – $9.76
  • Breach of Crust by Ellery Adams – $7.99

Thanks! Donating the books actually feels great. I don’t have to worry about getting them off to the mail and I know it’s going to a good cause.
