Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news: a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. Borrowed from Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This week was pretty relaxed. Work was busy per usual. Towards the end of it I was auditing accounts and making sure things tied out correctly which in my world is a lot of fun! Jeff and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary on Thursday so we spent the afternoon together. We didn’t do anything to ostentatious. But we were able to find a smaller TV that we’ve been looking for! The urge to cross stitch this week has been strong so I didn’t read during the week much but the weekend made up for it. πŸ™‚ I also gave some attention to my blogging and reviews. That always makes me feel good. πŸ™‚

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week I am determined to finish Da Vinci’s Tiger by L.M. Elliot. It is not what you would call a gripping read and I’ve been having troubles getting in to it. I’m sure once I sit down and really focus on it, I’ll be able to whip through it. I am very excited to read Poisonous by Allison Brennan. I have a borrowed copy from the library right now and it is due back soon. After that I am going to continue with the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series with Volume 11. I am so close to wrapping up that series! πŸ™‚

What are you reading this week?

I think it’s the fact that I can control it. πŸ™‚ If something is incorrect I can very easily make it correct by researching the financial docs.

Happy anniversary!! The cover for Da Vinci’s Tiger is so cool though! I’m curious about that one even if it’s not that gripping πŸ˜‰ I hope you enjoy your reads this week!

Thanks! It has a totally amazing cover. I’m pretty sure I have another L. M. Elliott novel in my TBR or on my wish list. I’m definitely going to read it. Da Vinci’s tiger was a little dry but it was still a solid read.

Thank you! I had been trying to read that book for at least a week and I just kept picking up other books instead. I finally got through it. I hope you were able to work through your book too!
