Before the Kiss by Jayne Fresina fills in the blanks for us. In Once Upon a Kiss we hear the story of how Darius Wainwright first met Justina Penny. It is quite the first meeting!

I have to say that I am glad I got this book for free (and it probably still is!). This novella doesn’t really add any new information to the story. We already know from Once Upon a Kiss that Darius and Justina’s introduction to one another was far from average.

Before the Kiss was a nice read to get myself reacquainted with the girls of Hawcombe Prior. It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
