The Evil Inside by Heather Graham *Stephanie’s Review*

I was so excited to continue with the Krewe of Hunters series that I barely took a breath between books. The Evil Inside by Heather Graham is Jenna Duffy’s story and the one that I was waiting for.

Jenna Duffy is Irish and I love stories with Irish characters. Plus Jenna has post cognition and in this book she sees how the murders played out. It was very interesting to read those scenes.

I didn’t really click with Sam Hall. Or not as much as I wanted to anyway. I liked him but I certainly wasn’t crazy about him. It was really like Jenna had to fall in love with someone and he was convenient.

The plot and mystery were highly enjoyable for me. The Evil Inside is set in Salem, Massachusetts. It’s kind of the perfect setting for ghostly happenings. I have to say that I was a bit surprised when the baddies were revealed.

Truly my only disappointment with the book is that it didn’t have more to do with the witch trials. It played a role in the story of course but not as much as I was hoping. It was still an excellent read and I’m happy that four books through I’m still excited to keep reading!

  1. oh glad you enjoyed this one. I haven’t read any of her latest releases. I love and adore her older historical’s though, but I really should return to reading her, since my library has tons of her books.

    1. I do have her Civil War historical romances to read. I’ve been saving them for something good though because those types of romances seem to be hard to find.

This is a really great paranormal series IF you like ghosts, so it’s perfect for me!
