Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news: a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. Borrowed from Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I’m feeling pretty great about this week. I’ve gotten so much blogging work done. I’ve had brain storming sessions for discussions, scheduled all of my written reviews, written 18 reviews and scheduled those as well, made notes for future bookish events I want to participate in, joined a new blogging group, and participated in Tuesday’s #histrom101 chat. It’s fall and we turned on the furnace on Thursday night. I was really hoping to make it to today but it was 58 in the house when we got home and only going to get colder. How’s the weather where you’re at?

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week it’s just library loot. Thank goodness! I’m still trying to get this book budget thing under control.

Into the Still Blue by Veronica RossiThe Duke and I by Julia Quinn

I want to finish off the Under the Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi so Into the Still Blue is on my reading list this week. Then I promised the #histrom101 girls that I would read my very first Julia Quinn novel. The most talked about books from her that I’ve come across is, of course, the Bridgertons. I can’t wait to get started on this series. I’m lucky enough to have a signed copy thanks to Alexa!

oh yah for Duke and I. That and Viscount Who Loved Me are my two favorites from the series. I love all the books from the series, but that was one of my first books to read from that author. Julia Quinn is fabulous when it comes to writing romance, so I hope you enjoy it.

I’m sure I will. I love historical romance and to many JQ is the queen of the historical romance. I don’t have super high expectations. I just except to enjoy it. Woot!!

I was. I guess I found my blogging muse this week. Good thing as she’s been hiding for a few months! The furnace was only on for about a day. It’s back up to 72 today. That’s weather in the Midwest for you!
