Stephanie’s April 2015 Wrap Up & May 2015 Goals

Posted May 1st, 2015 by in *Feature/Meme / 0 comments

April was a bit of a slower reading month for me. I think probably because I started the month off with The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank and that was a bit heavy. It sort of slowed down the rest of my reading. Sometimes there are just books that you need more recovery time and this was one of them. Then for Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon, Alexa and I buddy read Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas and I need some recovery time from that as well. Sometimes books just make you think a lot or they’re so good you don’t want to move on just yet. In March and April both, I read a few books that brought me current in the series I’ve been reading. I’m going to continue that trend in May and hopefully I will be able to knock out a few more series.

I think May is going to be an excellent reading month and I can’t wait for the books I have on my list!

Reading Progress

Goal: 3000 pages MET!

  • The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank – N/A – 340 pages
  • See Jane Run by Hannah Jayne – * * * – 272 pages
  • Hero by Alethea Kontis – * * * * – 282 pages
  • Compulsion by Allison Brennan – * * * * * – 372 pages
  • Unbound by Sara Humphreys – * * * 1/2 – 106 pages
  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – * * * * 1/2 – 416 pages

Total Pages Read: 1788

Total Saved from Library This Month: $0.00

Total Saved from Library This Year: $28.94

Still not a bad month; one book I don’t feel can be rated and three out of the remaining five had 4 stars or higher. I’m still really enjoying picking what I want to read and reading it when I want to. It’s almost a little rebellious. 😉

TBR Goals (CW Design)

May’s Goal: 2500 pages

The Line Up:

If I can read all of these, I will wrap up two series, be current on one, and knock one book out for two. The last book is going to be a re-read and I am so looking forward to this month! I’m hoping it pans out alright. 🙂

What are you all looking forward to reading this month?
