Task It Tuesday: E-book Catalog 2012

The lovely Felicia from Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog is graciously allowing people to join her in Task It Tuesday! Task it Tuesday is a way to set goals that you want to meet in a week’s time. This my dears is a lovely idea! There is excellent motivation and who doesn’t like feeling like they have a partner in crime? 😉 I have so many things that I’d like to get done that I can easily break these down into smaller one week goals. I AM PSYCHED!

I’m going to follow Felicia and get my e-books into some sort of an organized system. Here’s how I’m going to do that:

  1. Get my purchases on one spreadsheet including what I paid for it.
  2. Create coordinating GoodReads shelves.
  3. Come to terms with my spending!

This week I’ll be working on those 2012 e-book purchases and freebies!

Totals: $706.36 in unread e-books and 121 freebies.
In 2010 I have $200.37 in unread e-books and 18 freebies.
In 2011 I have $505.99 in unread e-books and 103 freebies.

I gave myself too many tasks last week. I’ve decided that I’m going to focus on one thing and just feel good that I’ve accomplished that much. There is plenty of time to get myself whipped into shape!

Yay goals!

Do you have a link to the spreadsheet you use? Like an example? I have been wanting to do this but I have no idea how to set up spreadsheets. LOL
Maybe you could do a tutorial on how to do this? And how to find the info to enter it onto the spreadsheet? I wouldn’t even know how to start this!

You know, I always beat myself up about what I didn’t get done that I don’t see how much I have gotten done. I feel pretty good. I’m not sure what my next goal is going to be but I’ll figure that out once I have the e-books taken care of. 😉
