Season for Desire by Theresa Romain *Stephanie’s Review*

[book-info]

Giles Rutherfod and his father are Americans in England. It’s Christmas time and the men are on a secret (not so secret) mission. In order to accomplish said mission, the men must intercept and earl’s wayward daughter. Once that’s been accomplished, the real fun begins!

I will admit that it took me a little to get into Season for Desire but it really took hold when I did get into it. Season for Desire is a fantastic historical romance. It was a cozy Christmas story that made me smile. While the main focus was on Giles and Audrina, there were a few other romances that warmed my heart as well.

There is also a puzzle box that adds a bit of mystery to the story. Romain does an excellent job with the “broken” hero and Giles is no different. If you’ve read one of Romain’s historicals you know what I’m talking about. Season of Desire is the third book in her Holiday Pleasures series. I’ve added the rest of the series to my lists!
