Hold onto your hats boys and girls because Sedition by Katharine Grant is not a book for the faint of heart. I read the first chapter and put off responding to the email request because it didn’t strike me as my cuppa. Except that I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I thought I had nothing to lose so I accepted the request. Sedition is a story about four girls, sex, revenge, sex, pianofortes, and more sex.

I just made this book sound like it was all sex and no plot but that’s not true. Sedition has a fantastic plot line and it is paced very well. I was so anxious to find out what would happen at the concert that there were a few late nights.

So why the 3.5? Friends I am not going to lie, there were some massive ick factors that I wasn’t prepared for. The first occuring somewhere in the 100 page range. The important thing is that I kept reading. Grant had me so curious that I read through the icky and enjoyed Sedition.

This book isn’t going to be for everyone. If you can read through situations that make you uncomfortable I think you’ll enjoy Sedition by Katharine Grant.
