Title: Too Consumed (Consumed #2)
Author: Skyla Madi
Publisher: Limitless Publishing LLC
Publication Date: January 2nd 2014
Olivia did the impossible. She tamed the over-confident Casanova, Seth Marc, turning him into a one woman Romeo.
With Seth’s first professional fight coming up, she does her best to keep him focused and driven… even if that means withholding sex from him.
As sexual tensions rise, so do past discrepancies the couple thought buried, putting extra stress on both their romantic and professional lives.
Stuck in the center of the action, Olivia and Seth fight for air as they collide face first with the tough world of professional MMA.
I fell in love with Olivia and Seth in Consumed and was a bit obsessed and excited to jump into Too Consumed. I even bought myself a Seth Marc T-Shirt 🙂 Yay! I need to get me some more bookish shirts. I now have a big total of….drum roll…. one. Crazy right? Well just had to say I was very excited about that.
“It’s hard to believe someone who walks around commanding so much attention with his acute cockiness, hard muscles, and tattoos would ever let someone like me bring him to his knees-and make no mistake, I bring him to his knees. I bring him to his knees, hard.”
Olivia and Seth are still going strong while life starts throwing more crap at them. First you have Seth’s trainer with his no sex rules which I am thinking you can guess the trouble that could cause. Those two had enough problems following that rule in the first one. I had no idea how they would attempt it this not. There was tons of tension there but nope that is not enough. There cruel world decides to make things harder. Of course it is just life being life but you can never really escape your past or the people from it. The good thing was it all made sense that these things would happen. That specific situations would come up. It was dramatic but without the, “Really? Stop being so dramatic!” Make sense?
The downside was that as much as I love Seth and Olivia anyways there were times that Seth became a little much for me. I understood but at the same time I just wanted him to chill out. We did get to see more of Jackson and Selena and there is a whole lot of “What the hell?!” going on there. I think i need more of there story. I need to know what is going of from their perspectives because from Olivia’s POV I am just not sure how I feel about that relationship. Those two are definitely damaged. It could be a great story or a huge disaster (maybe both). Just one more book left for Olivia and Seth. I am sure Skyla Madi will not disappoint.
