Mini-Review: The Transfer by Veronica Roth

Review Banner

Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. I’m trying to figure out how to review this book. You see I am *cough**cough* slightly OCD. If I start a series, I feel compelled to finish it. I didn’t really care for Allegiant but I’m not going to bore you with those details all over again.

The Transfer by Veronica Roth really doesn’t provide any new information. We’ve learned everything from this book within the actual series. The only difference here is that it is a little bit more fleshed out and it is told from Four’s perspective. Is it necessary to read? Probably not. If you were unsatisfied with Allegiant these novella/short stories aren’t going to fill that void. If you enjoyed the series and want to spend more time there, these might be worth the financial investment for you. I spent $1.99 on this series (just a note the physical version is a compilation of all four short stories so it’s going to be more) and I’m more pleased with the fact that I can mark this as read on FictFact than I am with the story so take that how you will.

  1. Great review and well said. I bought Allegiant on release day and still haven’t read it, hopefully this month.

    1. Good luck! It’s kind of a hit and miss book. While I didn’t love it, I didn’t hate it either. It was really kind of a meh book. I hope you enjoy it though!
