Mini-Review: The Earl’s Christmas Colt by Rebecca Thomas

Review Banner

Lady Arabella Sutton is staring down a season in London and finally having to settle down with a husband. She’d much rather spend her time with her horses. Like most women in England she has accepted this as her fate. The best she can hope for is a husband who will let her still live her life and spend time with her horses. The worst could be a man who’s already lived half his life and needs someone to produce a few heirs.

Oliver Westwyck needs to settle down and start living up to the title of Earl of Marsdale. In order to do that he needs to find a wife and start a family. In order to start a good relationship with his future wife he intends to bring her a Christmas gift. The Earl’s Christmas Colt by Rebecca Thomas is a sweet, simple, and short book to warm up around the holidays or to cool you down during a hot summer day. Either way the characters are well defined and the story is enjoyable.

    1. It was. It’s definitely not for someone seeking emotional depth but I bought it for $0.99 and read it not too long after Christmas so it hit the spot. 🙂
