Too Consumed

consumedTitle: Consumed (Consumed #1)
Publisher: Limitless Publishing LLC
Publication Date: September 11th 2013

Goodreads Summary:
Olivia James has never been one to walk on the wild side, at least not until she meets Seth Marc—a cocky, sexy fighter at her father’s gym. He’s infuriating, nauseatingly addictive and she just can’t seem to shake him. He’s only been in town a short while and his name is already on everyone’s lips. He’s the kind of guy moms’ warn their daughters about—the kind that leaves a trail of shattered hearts behind him and he has Olivia in his sights.

Olivia has never met anyone as confusing as Seth and his hot and cold attitude constantly sends her reeling. She’s never wanted anyone’s touch so badly in her life, but having recently come out of a long term relationship diving into another is something she’d prefer to avoid.

Determined for his touch, but not to let him under her skin, Olivia embarks on the most thrilling ride of her life.

My Thoughts

Olivia’s douchebag of a boyfriend has finally pushed Olivia over the edge. She has dedicated six years of her life to the same guy just to let him walk all over her. She is tired of being unappreciated and as hard as it has been for her not to end it sooner she finally stepped up and decided to kick him to the curve (Serves him right!). Not as distraught as you would think she would be Olivia (then again one should be happy to finally cut ties with someone so inconsiderate) is ready to move on with her life.

Seth Marc quickly jumps into the picture. First of all I have to say… Can I have one please! I love my Vampires and Rock Stars but MMA fighters have just become a new love of mine. Seth confuses the hell out of Olivia but she knows one thing for sure…She is extremely attracted to him. He radiates bad boy but of course Seth is more than he seems. Before she knows it Seth is pushing her away and pulling her closer all at once. His confident attitude borderlined cocky but it was all a part of his charm. Between his reactions with Olivia, his relationship with her dad, getting his POV, and his badass fighting skills Seth definitely made me swoon.

When it came to Olivia I loved that she was more comfortable at home with a book than in the club. When pushed though she still went out. She knew she was worth more than some treated her and had learned to put her foot down. She didn’t let Seth turn her into a drooling idiot even when she was thinking, “take me now!.” There were a couple times I thought she could have said more to Seth after certain behaviors. It wasn’t often but one or two things would have had me more unhappy then Olivia seemed to be.

Overall, I loved Consumed. Seth and Olivia both carry some sort of baggage but the drama wasn’t over the top and I liked seeing their relationship progress. I was able to connect with Olivia and fall for Seth. I didn’t want to put the book down and cannot wait to dig into Too Consumed.

He wants to be with me forever… I love Seth and I can’t really picture my life without him, and he loves me too, God knows he says it enough, but I didn’t know he’s actually thinking about forever…is he even capable of forever?

Olivia did the impossible…

She tamed the over-confident Casanova, Seth Marc, turning him into a one woman Romeo.

With Seth’s first professional fight coming up, she does her best to keep him focused and driven…even if that means withholding sex from him.

As sexual tensions rise, so do past discrepancies the couple thought buried, putting extra stress on both their romantic and professional lives.

Stuck in the center of the action, Olivia and Seth fight for air as they collide face first with the tough world of professional MMA.
