Still on my Mind was created by Haley at YA-Aholic.The purpose of this meme is to share a book you read months or even years ago that is still on my (your) mind every Thursday.

The Book Still on My Mind this week is…

Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan

Immortal Beloved

Goodreads Summary:

Nastasya has spent the last century living as a spoiled, drugged-out party girl. She feels nothing and cares for no one. But when she witnesses her best friend, a Dark Immortal, torture a human, she realizes something’s got to change. She seeks refuge at a rehab for wayward immortals, where she meets the gorgeous, undeniably sexy Reyn, who seems inexplicably linked to her past.

Nastasya finally begins to deal with life, and even feels safe–until the night she learns that someone wants her dead.

Cate Tiernan, author of the popular Sweep series, returns with an engaging story of a timeless struggle and inescapable romance, the first book in a stunning new fantasy trilogy.

Why It Is Still On My Mind

I keep my books in three different places. I have a small book shelf in the living room with YA books and then another small one upstairs that holds the YA books that didn’t fit on the first one and the small amount of Adult books  own. The third place is the one shelf I split with my cousin in our closet. That one is filled with my tbr books. Well the bookshelf in  our room is against the wall in front of my bed and this book always sticks out to me as I look at my shelf. First of all I love that it is red and black but it was also I good story. It took me forever but I got to read the second one and loved that one. I only have one more to go! With series you just get so excited to read how it all ends. Unfortunately the third one isn’t in paperback yet and I have the first two in paperback and would like to keep it that one. Seeing the first one every day and knowing I am making myself wait for the third one makes me a little crazy but I bring it upon myself. It makes it kind of hard not to think about it.
