Game by Barry Lyga makes I Hunt Killers look like an after school special. Game is very gory and very detailed. All of the characters from I Hunt Killers appear in Game with a few additions. Obviously this book is ramping up the game (no pun intended). There are several murders in this book and the killer has made sure to invite Jazz to play.

I’m not even gonna play, Game kept me on the edge of my seat and up late reading. Lyga is the young adult king of just one more chapter. I can’t tell you how many times I told myself that before my eyelids drooped closed.

The only downfall to this book is that the ending (while I sorta expected it) blew my mind. Sounds like a good deal, right? Wrong! I am so important with books like these that I usually wait until the series is over before beginning it. Ah well. I will harbor and feed my suspicions until that blissful day when book the third is released.
