fallen too farTitle: Fallen Too Far
Author: Abbi Glines
Publisher: Self-Published
Publication Date: Dec 2012
Classification: New Adult Novel

Summary from Goodreads:

To want what you’re not supposed to have…

She is only nineteen.

She is his new stepfather’s daughter.

She is still naïve and innocent due to spending the last three years taking care of her sick mother.

But for twenty-four year old Rush Finlay, she is the only thing that has ever been off limits. His famous father’s guilt money, his mother’s desperation to win his love, and his charm are the three reasons he has never been told no.

Blaire Wynn left her small farmhouse in Alabama, after her mother passed away, to move in with her father and his new wife in their sprawling beach house along the Florida gulf coast. She isn’t prepared for the lifestyle change and she knows she’ll never fit into this world. Then there is her sexy stepbrother who her father leaves her with for the summer while he runs off to Paris with his wife. Rush is as spoiled as he is gorgeous. He is also getting under her skin. She knows he is anything but good for her and that he’ll never be faithful to anyone. He is jaded and has secrets Blaire knows she may never uncover but even knowing all of that…

Blaire just may have fallen too far.

My Thoughts:

I’ve been putting off reading Abbi Glines for some time now, and I’m kicking myself, believe me!! This story (although not complete yet) is one of the best I’ve read this year. It has everything; shady pasts, hot guys, hot girls, guns, mean girls, bad boys, and some hot succulent sex scenes that will never ever leave me!!! I was literally on the edge of my seat while I read this book. Every chapter just drove me deeper and deeper into this abyss of a story with no chance of ever returning to the light!!!! If you’re looking for something with some substance, than look no further, this is the book for you. Great storyline with many twists and turns to make your head spin!!!!

Blaire was and is the heroine for me, she’s tough, she’s compassionate, she’s smart, she’s beautiful.. and above all… SHE’S REAL!!! To go through what she went through and still come out on the other end as strong willed as she was astonished me!! Rush, well, Rush is a just a complete jerk, a bad boy if you will. Hot, sexy, tattooed up, rich, and mysterious, I wanted to like him so very badly, and eventually I did but boy oh boy did he rub me the wrong way for about 50% of this book. Great supporting characters… Grant, Woods, Bethy, and Darla just to name a few, were refreshing, stimulating, humorous, and loveable.

Lately I’ve been reading like one book a day on the whole because they’re so good I can’t put them down and this one was no different. It was 300 (kindle Version) pages and I devoured them like a vampire on a vein!!! It’s my understanding that the continuation; Never Too Far is already out… can’t freakin’ wait!!!5

I read one of her books and it was so-so, I didn’t love it. This might be a series I would like much more though and I’d totally be willing to check it out. Glad you loved it so much!

I read The Vincent Boys and didn’t think it lived upto the hype for me. Glad you liked this one. Perhaps I will give it a try.

Blaire was awesome in this book. The supporting cast is great & even gets better in the next book. I so wanted to punch Rush in the face most of the time.
