Operation TBR Reduction Button
This week has been great!! I participated in a read-a-thon and I only added one book to my TBR pile. It’s been a good week!

GoodReads Stats:

  • Read in 2012: 37 (+2 this week)
    • Beaglemania by Linda O. Johnston 3 Hearts
    • Changeling by Philippa Gregory 3 Hearts
  • To Be Read: (This is anything that I own that needs to be read) 1804 (+4 this week)
    • The Lying Game by Sara Shepard On Kindle for $2.99
    • Enclave by Ann Aguirre On Kindle for $2.99
  • Kindle Freebie: 179
    • Love Finds You in Amana Iowa by Melanie Dobson
  • Upcoming Reads:(This shelf is for books that I am planning to read soon.) 5
    • Anna and the French Kiss I’ve heard so many great things about this book and it’s really been setting in Mt. Read Me too long!
    • Chasing the Sun I’ve been meaning to finish this one for so long. I can’t wait to polish off this great series!
    • Lover Unleashed I can’t wait to get caught up with the BDB. I’m a big fan of Tohr’s but haven’t read the BDB in awhile. This needs corrected!
    • Ninth Crossing: Discovery I’m aiming to get a Kindle freebie in once about every five books. I really enjoyed the book I read this week!
    • Again the Magic I just found out that this book includes characters from Kleypas’ Wallflower series! They were secondary characters in It Happened One Autumn.

You’re doing so good! It’s definitely still a work in progress for me! I keep wanting to buy, buy, buy! At least now I’m thinking about not buying, for a minute while I think this is going on my TBR for how long exactly? If it’s more than a month I don’t pick the book up. Ohhh! Who knew that would be so hard to do! 😉

Sigh Tohr’s story was disappointing to me. He was suppose to be the male who had a rough time with his wife being killed but he was suppose to move forward with his life and fall in love with No’One. However, I found him to be really lacking! It is sad when you are more interested in the side characters like the drama between Qhuinn and Blay instead of the main couple. I love Ward’s BDB series but this book was a let down for me.

Anna and the French Kiss is a good story but I didn’t really understand why everyone loves Stephanie Perkins until I read Lola and the Boy Next Door, which I thought was much better than Anna’s story.

I can’t wait to hear what you think of everything your currently reading!

Don’t say it’s so Alexa! Tohr has been my hope/hold out for this series. I am pretty much bored with it. I can’t wait to see what happens any way. I just hope I’m not disappointed. I agree. Each book seems to have gotten less focused on the main couple and more about progressing the overall plot line.

If you enjoyed Lola more, I can’t WAIT to read it. I loved Anna and the French Kiss. Loved it!
