Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ginger at GReads. It is a way to share with others old or new music you are listening to. You can link up and join on Gingers Blog. Go ahead and start sharing your awesome music!
I can’t tell you how much I love music. It is part of my day to day life. If people stopped making music it would be as if someone chopped one of my legs or arms off. Then again I could probably learn to live without one of my limbs (it would be quite difficult though). Music brings so much joy to my life. It picks me up when I am down and brings me up even more when I am already in a good mood. Without it a lot of my happiness would be sucked away.
Because of the huge role music plays in my life I have to thank all those wonderful people out in the world making music. They bring so much awesomeness into my day (every single day). I can’t imagine how much hard work goes into making a song let alone a whole album. It is even harder to imagine how hard it is to do it mostly on your own. I am not one to pay attention to record labels. As much as I love music I probably could only name a few of them and I highly doubt I could tell you who belongs to what label. A majority of the music I listen to probably belongs to a label but I know not all of it does. Plus those artists had to start somewhere, they didn’t always belong to a label. A million thumbs up to all those people that kept making their music with or without one. It can’t be easy to make an album on your own yet people do it all the time. They put in hard work and dedication to create something spectacular and they did it on their own. That is truly amazing!
Alright so enough talk (writing/text/whatever). Today I would like to share some of my favorite songs from two unsigned bands. Check out the links, tell me what you think, and don’t forget to enter the giveaway!
Oh man, I absolutely love these guys. I first heard about them when I bought tickets to see Jacks Mannequin (which I also love!). I told a friend I was going and she told me they were great and lent me her cds. They were great and I loved seeing them live. I got to meet them after the concert too and they were really nice which is always a humongous plus (See links for more info)
A Couple Of Songs
Where To Find Lady Danville
Artist vs Poet
I first saw Artist vs Poet at Warped Tour one year. Back then they had different members and they used to belong to a label but long story short members have changed and they no longer belong to one. They just came out with a new self-released acoustic album. I love every song on it! (See links for more info.)
