Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ginger at GReads. It is a way to share with others old or new music you are listening to. You can link up and join on Gingers Blog. Go ahead and start sharing your awesome music!

This month is going to be a little different than usual. The month of March will be the Book Playlist Edition.  All songs posted will either be my own personal playlist for a book or the author’s actual playlist.

The Book

Title: The Disenchanments
Author: Nina LaCour
Publisher: Dutton Children’s Books
Publication Date: February 16th, 2012
Classification: Contemporary YA

Goodreads Summary: Colby’s post-high school plans have long been that he and his best friend Bev would tour with her band, then spend a year in Europe. When Bev announces that she will start college just after the tour, Colby struggles to understand why she changed her mind and what losing her means for his future.

I just finished this and I am pretty sure whenever I hear Heart or The Supremes I am going to think of this book. Meg and Alexa are sisters and Alexa really likes Heart and Meg loves the Supremes. Because of their love for these two groups I made a playlist with a few songs from each this week.

I love Alone & all those old power ballad type songs. I’d say they’re a guilty pleasure but I’m not embarassed by them; they’re amazing!

This makes me sad. I remember the last time I heard “Come See About Me” was when I watched ‘Sister, Sister’ and I loved that show.

I also LOVE Nina LaCour so I should probably buy this book ASAP!
