Once Upon A Chapter is honored to have author Donna Grant here today! Tuesday, the second novel in her Sisters of Magic novel was re-issued in E-book format and we are glad Donna could take a moment to stop by and celebrate!

In case you missed it, Monday I posted the review for the first novel in this series Shadow Magic HERE. Read on to find out details about the giveaway featured at the end of this post!

A Note From Donna Grant

First, thank you so much for Once Upon A Chapter for having me here today. I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s the end of November. lol

I’m so happy that my newest release, ECHOES OF MAGIC, the second book is my Sisters of Magic trilogy released yesterday. Its always fun – and scary – to have a release.

The Sisters of Magic books I’m re-releasing with a bit of tweaking and new covers after getting my rights returned to me. I loved writing this trilogy. When I began the books, I had finished my first historical paranormal series (Druids Glen) and was in the middle of my second (The Shields) when I knew I wanted to something a bit different.

The other two series were all hero based. The SoM trilogy I wanted to make heroine based. The idea of witches came to mind, but I wanted to something different, so I made them part of a dying race where very few of them were around.

I love writing historical paranormal, and when I had the chance to go back and read this trilogy to update and revise a bit, I jumped at the chance while altering my current deadline schedule because I really wanted these books out there again for readers.

Chivalrous knights who don’t back down from danger, witches who can stand against evil on their own, the wonderful, magical medieval world I love so much, and love, conquering all. Sound good? 😀

Here’s the blurb for ECHOES OF MAGIC

Hiding a secret so awful that his only hope for survival is to remain hidden, Grayson has lived most of his life pretending to be someone he isn’t. After years serving as commander to his friend and lord, Grayson can no longer hold back the past. He leaves in search of answers only to find evil awaits him. Until he discovers an achingly beautiful woman who stirs his deepest passions and all consuming need.

Adriana knows what her future holds for as a witch – loneliness and heartache. She
has accepted that. Until she discovers Grayson near death in the forest. Saving him
is her only choice, and even as she falls deeper into the attraction surrounding them, can her magic be enough to stop Fate or the evil that awaits them.

What keeps you coming back to read historicals?

I’ve got an ebook copy of the first in the Sisters of Magic trilogy, SHADOW MAGIC, to one lucky commenter!

I love reading lots of different types of romances, but I always come back to historicals because they're like my first love, those are the romances I started out reading and you can't beat them. I've always loved history and I love reading about different times and different places than what I'm used to.Barbed1951 at aol dot com
