Living on borrowed time in the midst of this dangerous game of hide and seek, the last thing Elodie needs to do is fall in love. My Thoughts
This is the first book I read by Kait Nolan. I did not know what to expect. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the book. It was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I love Nolan’s writing. She has a way of making you feel part of the story and the characters. You could feel all of the characters’ emotions as if they were your own. It was very fast paced and had a wonderful story line. I didn’t want to put the book down. It was so intriguing and very interesting.
I loved all the characters in the book. They all had their own strength and weaknesses. I especially like Elodie and Sawyer. I loved how Nolan slowly developed the romance between them. It felt very natural and not fake. You could feel the emotions coming from the first moment they met. They definitely had chemistry. Elodi and Sawyer were very strong characters throughout the book. They both were protective of each other and their families. Elodie and Sawyer did whatever was necessary to protect the ones they love. Nolan had you guessing what was going to happen next until the very end. I can’t wait to read more of Nolan’s books. She is a wonderful writer and story teller who kept your interest held throughout the story. Kait Nolan writes with a passion and puts all her emotion into the book. The book was excellent.
