The Vow: The Kim & Krickitt Carpenter Story

Synopsis: A massive head injury, as the result of a tragic car accident, left Krickitt Carpenter in a coma just two months after her marriage to Kim. When she finally emerged from the coma, she recognized everyone in her life except her husband, Kim. Starting all over, they built a new love and dedicated their lives to each other all over again. – GoodReads

What I Liked: I loved reading this love story because it is based on true events. It was a wonderful love story between two people whose love is tested when they are involved in an accident. It tells how the couple meant, fell in love and the accident. It further goes on to tell what happened after the accident and how their love overcame all obstacles, how neither one of them gave up and fought for their love. I couldn’t imagine going through what they went through. It just goes to show you that love conquers all.

What I Didn’t Like: I think there were some details they didn’t give in the book and I would have liked to know everything that happened. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I was disappointed with the movie though.

Recommended For: Any reader who likes a good love story.

Avoid If: You don’t like love stories.
