Summary: In Strange Angels, Dru Anderson has what her grandmother called “the touch.” (Comes in handy when you’re traveling from town to town with your dad, hunting ghosts, suckers, wulfen, and the occasional zombie.)
Then her dad turns up dead—but still walking—and Dru knows she’s next. Even worse, she’s got two guys hungry for her affections, and they’re not about to let the fiercely independent Dru go it alone. Will Dru discover just how special she really is before coming face-to-fang with whatever—or whoever— is hunting her? – via GoodReads
What I Liked: I really loved reading this book. It was full of action and a lot of fighting scenes. There were different paranormal creatures int he book that were after Dru and who were on her side. there was never a dull moment. The author kept your attention until the very end. You truly could feel how Dru felt.
Dru and her father were constantly on the go with her father battling and killing a lot of paranormal creatures. Some of the stakeouts Dru went on and some she didn’t. Her father taught and trained her well on how to defeat different paranormal creatures.
When Dru’s father goes on another mission and doesn’t return, she starts to worry. When he comes back as a zombie things get really intense. I truly felt for her and felt her emotions. Dru feels adrift until a guy from school named Graves helps her out and stays with her. She later meets Christophe who is an important character in the book.
I thought all of the characters were very strong especially Dru. Along the way, Dru learns a lot about who she is and who her mother was. I love this book and can’t wait to see what Lili St. Crow comes up with next.
What I Didn’t Like: I didn’t like having to wait for the next book in the series. Thie book leaves you wanting more and more.
Recommended For: Any reader who likes a good paranormal story.
Avoid If: You don’t like paranormal.
