Synopsis:
When tragedy strikes Michele Windsor’s world, she is forced to uproot her life and move across the country to New York City, to live with the wealthy, aristocratic grandparents she’s never met. In their old Fifth Avenue mansion filled with a century’s worth of family secrets, Michele discovers a diary that hurtles her back in time to the year 1910. There, in the midst of the glamorous Gilded Age, Michele meets the young man with striking blue eyes who has haunted her dreams all her life – a man she always wished was real, but never imagined could actually exist. And she finds herself falling for him, into an otherworldly, time-crossed romance.
Michele is soon leading a double life, struggling to balance her contemporary high school world with her escapes into the past. But when she stumbles upon a terrible discovery, she is propelled on a race through history to save the boy she loves – a quest that will determine the fate of both of their lives. – via Goodreads
What I Liked: Timeless by Alexandra Monir is an unforgettable love story between two people from different times who meet and fall in love. I love romance novels where you can feel the chemistry between the man and woman and know they were meant to be together. I thought Michele was a very strong character who endured a lot and was lost without her mother. Michele has been dreaming of a guy all her life but she never understood why until she meets him in the past and falls in love. This is the first book in a series. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
What I Didn’t Like: I would have liked more detail on Michele’s family history especially about her father. Also, I would have loved to know who discovered the ability to time travel and how they were able to. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was very romantic and sad.
Recommended For: Any reader who enjoys a good romance novel and is a hopeless romantic.
Avoid If: You don’t love romance novels and don’t believe in true love.

Oh this sounds terrific
I am a hopeless romantic and a sucker for a true romance where the connection seems organic and not pushed!

I think it sounds interesting just for the travel to the Gilded Age. It also sounds like she can travel back and forth. I'd like to know how it's done!

I liked this one quite a bit too. It seems like it was lacking a little something but I don't recall what and it was still a great read. Glad you enjoyed!
