Top Ten Books To Read in a Day
8. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I had heard so much about these books so I decided to read the first one. I read each in one day.
7. Tenth Anniversary by James Patterson
As soon as I got this book in the mail I started reading it. I couldn’t put it down. I read it in the morning. I read it on my lunch break and everything at home was ignored until it was done. Love the Women’s Murder Club
6. Lady Sophie’s Chrsitmas Wish
I read this book in November and was very much in the mood for a holiday romance. I loved this book. It was my first Grace Burrowes book and it won’t be my last! It was a great romance that had a baby in it. I may even re-read it this year!
5. Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison
Oh my gosh! People if you have not read this book yet, schedule a day to do it. Clear
your calendar and shut off your phone. Even give up Twitter for 24 hours. This book is worth it! It is one of the best paranormals that I have read in awhile. If you haven’t read it, do it!
4. Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas
Oh how this book tugs at the heartstrings!!! Evie is a shy woman who seeks out a known rake in desperation. Watching these two fall in love was nothing short of magical and I try to get as many people to read this as possible!
3. Killing Floor by Lee Child
You need a whole day to get acquainted with Jack Reacher. He is one hell of a military man and his analysis is simply amazing and the suspense will keep you hooked from page one all the way to the end. I could barely stand the suspense and I’m telling you there were moments where my jaw dropped!
2. Simply Love by Mary Balogh
I’m telling you this one had a tortured hero that made you want to weep. Both Anne and Sydnam were so damaged that to not root for them seemed cruel. They had a lot to work through and it was great watching it all come together. If you spend the day reading this one, you won’t regret it.
1. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
If you start this one, be warned, you will need a day to get through this. You will not want to put it down. I helped my husband install our new bathroom faucet while reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was going on with Mara, where Noah fit in and what was going to happen with it all. I’m still waiting to find out the last part.
