Questions of the week: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
Answer: I would say that would have to be Westerns. The manly kind. I’ve never read one so I shouldn’t be avoiding them like the plague. I have told people time and again to try at least one and then you can judge. Of course, do I listen to my own advice? No. Lol. Maybe I’ll make that my goal this year: to try a Western so I can avoid them properly. How about you? What do you avoid?

I usually avoid adult high fantasy. It is just so time consuming and they ramble on about the trees for 100 pages of the novel! Not something I can really read.

I've never even considered reading a Western novel… didn't even think to use that as an answer. Before today I haven't even thought about reading Westerns. oô I should read one, too, then. Hopefully after you did so that if you loved the one you read, I will pick that one up. (Or avoid it if you thought it was horrible XD)Happy Friday!Patricia

Haha I can honestly say that I've never read a Western. But I think the movies are pretty entertaining…though I don't think I'd enjoy reading them for some reason.
